Hi again, just fitted a becker cdr23 6612 into a boxster, there’s no “protect” code but no audio either. Can this be fixed by yourselves?

We get a number of calls from people who have retro fitted this model and then claim that there is no audio coming out. Unlike its twin sister model, the BE6611 CDR23, the model BE6612 CDR23 does not have a built in audio amplifier, and was designed to run an external audio amplifier located elsewhere in the car. If you do not have the upgraded Sound System in your Porsche with external amplifiers, then you will need to find yourself a BE6611 CDR23 as a compatible replacement.
